Better Air Flow for More Power. Independent dyno tests, performed at JDM Engineering in New Jersey, showed a 9hp advantage over stock with no other changes and an equal increase in torque. The reduction in back pressure alone will increase the life of the turbo. Additional benefits include increased fuel economy, lower EGT’s, increased airflow by 40% and a boost port for aftermarket gauges.
Lower engine heat, lower EGT temperatures and lower turbocharger backwash with an Accufab power elbow. This can also reduce expensive head gasket issues. If you haul heavy loads or pull oversized trailers, the power elbow will pay for itself by reducing wear on your engine. This is an easy bolt-on for any 6.0L Ford diesel pick-up truck.
In comparison, the stock elbow design is not airflow friendly with the sharp angle in which the air is expected to flow. In contrast, Accufab’s elbow curves the airflow path which indeed allows the air to move!

well made product i personally would probably polish the inside of the elbow to increase efficiency but i love this elbow conpared to what’s s on the market also having 2 ports instead of one also makes it more competitive with others in the same price ranges

it fit exactly in place of the stock elbow. the hole for the electric fan was a bit off and a little bit of filing will fix. i’m not expecting this to perform a miracle, but when combined with 4-5 other mods to increase airflow and reduce pressure loss, everything becomes cumulative. it might be worth adding a stock gasket to the elbow as that was the only part I had to buy separately to install.

Nice quality and quickly delivered.
Would like to see it shipped with new bolts and gasket. Most customers would pay extra to have all the parts with a new Elbow, IMO . I had to purchase these items separately for a proper installation.
