In the product
descriptions below, EGR refers to a 2" EGR spacer with
vacuum tubes and water passages. Blank refers to a 2"
blank spacer with no EGR provisions or water passages.
The throttle
body is sold individually or boxed in a kit which includes a
2" EGR or blank spacer. All gaskets included.
Also, Accufab offers a race
throttle body which measures
65, 70, 75, 80, 85 or 90mm size at the blade and
it opens up to 90mm at the inlet. It requires a fabricated hose or tube from filter or supercharger
and it does not have a vacuum provision.

What is a
MAX throttle body anyway? Simply,
it's a 1986-1993 Ford Mustang 5.0L throttle body with a
unique twist. Instead of the opening having a
small lip on it, this one has a ferrule machined into
the throttle body design which creates one smooth
throttle body created from one piece of billet aluminum.
Now available in 2 sizes, 90mm & 105mm.
In
addition,
Accufab has recently designed a clamshell clamp
specifically for aftermarket performance enthusiasts!
When using
our F90MAX or F105MAX throttle body, coupled with our clamshell clamp assembly,
every enthusiast will achieve:

Our clamps are designed to accommodate multiple sized tubing found on most blower or turbo applications
and will withstand 60 pounds of boost!
An Accufab Clamp has several important features which make
it an extremely useful connector for race applications. First, the clamp can be removed and/or re-installed
with the quick release
pin. This is accomplished without tools, just your fingers. There
are no hoses to “stretch” over the tubing or throttle body. There are no
hose clamps to unscrew or retighten. The use of our clamp can eliminate
wasted time
between rounds. You can now work on your engine
rather than working on trying to get the tubing on and off. Furthermore,
the clamp, inner sleeve & ferrules are CNC machined from the highest quality
billet aluminum.
Important information: Accufab's clamp is
available in Black or Blue. Also, until our stock
is depleted, we will continue to offer the Adel Wiggins
clamp which is only available in purple. Both
brands include the clamp and inner sleeve
only. Weld ferrules are sold separately.
